Honored to have been invited to attend the 2019 Academy for New Americans Graduation Reception this afternoon! The Academy for New Americans is a free leadership-training program sponsored by the City of Bowling Green whose purpose is to provide New Americans the tools necessary to successfully navigate City services, community information and resources in order to become key stakeholders in assisting their respective ethnic communities and neighborhoods.

It was great to meet and talk with this group of New Americans who have taken an interest in understanding and participating in City Government. We are proud of each of you, appreciate your hard work and dedication, and welcome you to Warren County! Congratulations, Class of 2019!!

We need your help! The WCSO is hoping to find the owner of this safe! A deputy found it in a ditch at Norris Road/Girkin Boiling Springs. It appears to have had its door cut off so we're looking to find the owner in case this safe was taken from them without their permission!

The WCSO Business Office employees began training on fingerprinting this morning. Currently, we have only been able to offer fingerprinting as a service to the public on Wednesdays between 8:00 and 11:00 AM. With more staff trained to provide this service, we will be able to begin offering fingerprinting during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:30) starting July 1, 2019! The cost will be $10.00.
