Court Security

The Sheriff’s Office is responsible for maintaining security and order inside all courts in session in the County. These courts include Civil and Criminal Divisions of both Circuit and District Courts, Juvenile Court, and Family Court.

Court Security Officers are responsible for maintaining order; assisting prosecuting officers, handling evidence, prisoners, and witnesses; taking defendants into custody; tracking court dates for inmates; and attending to sequestered jurors; and the physical security of the Warren County Justice Center complex.
