Warren County Sheriff’s Office
K-9 Unit
The Warren County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit’s primary role is that of supporting the Patrol and Criminal Investigation Divisions.
In addition to regular patrol, canine deputies conduct high-yield drug searches, play a vital role in tactical apprehension, suspect threat and control, in crime scene reconstructions, and are successful in tracking perpetrators, rescuing victims and locating missing persons.
In this unit, the canine and the deputy work together as a heroic team to preserve the security of our community. The animal is a valuable member of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office team, and is regarded as such.
